Just Enjoy The Show

Just one month left. I don’t know what to feel. But I know right now I’m feeling very sleepy. It feels like my head is spinning and my lids are heavy. I want a pillow. Can I bring one?

Everyone seems to be talking about Transformer 2. I’m pretty sure it’s good. I just haven’t got the chance to watch it yet. Hope I can watch it soon.

Wimbledon update:

I know I don’t update everyday so I shouldn’t really talk about something that will be old news the next day but still… Well, I was kinda surprise when Juan Martin Del Potro lost to Lleyton Hewitt in the second round last night. I mean, Del Potro is World No. 5 and this only shows that every match is unpredictable. But then, Hewitt was a world no. 1 way back when and he did win the Wimbledon Title in 2002 so it’s just fair that he won yesterday. I like the matches in the ‘odd’ days cause my favourite players are playing, Djokovic and Federer. So I’ll be looking forward to their matches tonight!

The Belgian girl with the 56 star tattoos confessed that she lied about being asleep during the procedure. And said she actually wanted it that way.

New Tourney, New Journey

Wimbledon is finally here. As you already know, world number one Rafael Nadal has pulled out of the tourney due to his injured knees. So Roger Federer is yet to meet Nadal perhaps in US Open final? Now the focus is on Federer, and probably Andy Murray. I’m rooting for Federer and Djokovic, except, they are both on the same side of the draw. Bummer.

First round, Federer is up against Taiwanese Lu Yen-Hsun (no.64). I don’t see much treat here except that Lu is Asian and probably the highest ranking Asian men’s single tennis pro now so I should really be supporting him. But against Federer? Fat chance of winning. Whatever happened to Paradorn anyway?

Back to reality, I have five weeks left of my attachment, which means I have to start polishing my report and prepare the presentation slides. I abandoned my attempt to write the report outline using M Office 2007 because I’m not used to it and I’m very old fashioned in that sense. I like the old 2003 version. Much more suitable for me.

I think there is a section meeting sometime this week but I’m not sure when. I don’t really like meetings because I’m the only uninitiated there and I feel alienated. Plus nothing ever goes to my head anyway. Hope I don’t fall asleep in my chair.

Configure Me

Exam result is coming out soon. I don’t know how soon but soon enough, probably this week or the next. If I’ve had a holiday now, I would already have enjoyed one month of it. Instead, it feels like I’ve been placed in a different world here. It’s actually a very good experience because I get to see people working their asses off so I’ll be more prepared when I’m entering this big big world. I have probably gained insights that I normally wouldn’t gain when I’m lazing around at home. I have talked issues that I wouldn’t normally talk about from the people I met. But come to think of it, I’ve not made many acquaintances here even though this is one hell of a building. I’m still working on that. Alright, I’m actually not very good at that. Still. There are exceptionally nice people here and of course, from a large building, you can only expect all sorts of people from various backgrounds working here so it’s up to you to meet the right people that you can be friend with and can help you out. But after all that’s said and done, I still want to get the hell out of here. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I want to go back to school. I know I’ll change my mind when next semester begins. In the meantime, I’ll try not to whine too much.

I just started watching Kyle XY. In fact, I’ve watched the first season. There are only three seasons so I’m planning to watch the next too soon. Matt Dallas is so freaking cute =P

No More FT Game

Ignore the title of this post. It is only relevant to Shely.

The weekend is coming again. And I’ve already got plans so I’m quite looking forward to it. It’s been a month since I’ve been thrown in this hell hole. The demons have not been pleasant to me. To be fair, they are busy unleashing hell on papers so I’ve been quietly chunk aside. I’m just staring at the vast empty red wall in front of me and I can’t collect enough feathers to build wings to fly away. I will be released only if I have done my deeds to my fellow demons and the angels upstairs. So in the meantime, I’ll just have to suck it up and enjoy the weekend the best I can before a borehole swallow me up once again.

Sorry about the writings. I watched too much TV (Supernatural).

I need to clean my laptop screen. I’ve just been staring at the screen for five minutes before I realize I have nothing else to write. And I happen to see fingerprints and all sorts of blotches on the screen. Screen cleaner, anyone?

Controls

I finally watched Roland Garros last night. I had a little doubt with Federer but he made it through. That was close! I really hope that this time someone else wins this Grand Slam. Nothing against Nadal, I just thought it’d be interesting to watch.

So it’s been very hectic at work these days. I’m kidding. I actually have little to do. Nina would come to my place and we would bore each other out and we would take pictures and she would post it on facebook. I actually have pictures of her in coverall but it’s still in my phone. The Underdog

I just watched American Idol and as you know Kris won! I really thought it’s gonna be Adam. But both of them are great so it doesn’t really matter. I actually got the spoiler from my colleagues when I overheard them talking about it before the show was aired. Damn. I was planning on watching it and finding out myself. And actually two of my friends mentioned it after that. So yeah, even if I don’t want the spoiler, there are so many various ways I can find out unwillingly. It feels like everyone is just screaming the result. But I enjoyed the performances! Some of my favourites are David Cook, Michael Sarver with Megan and Steve Martin, and also Queen (the band, not the other Queen). Well, there goes this season of Idol. I’m anticipating for the next one already. And I didn’t know Kara can sing so well. Loved her performance too.

These past few days have been a bit slow for me. Most of the time I just sit there not knowing what I’m supposed to do and not daring to disturb my neighbors who seem so busy. Luckily for Nina, I can go downstairs to disturb her. We explored the building and at one point we actually go around the same corridors twice. It’s a bit confusing but we managed to get the hang of it. On the third day, I joined the team in a monthly meeting and it was scary and all because I don’t know anyone and I don’t know what everyone’s talking about throughout the meeting. Important things I figure. It’s alright I guess. I just don’t like waking up early in the morning. It’s like high school all over again.
